I Was A King’s eponymous titled album gets a full release in the UK on February 7th, this 7″ includes a new version of album track ‘Not Like This’ and a cover of Guided by Voices’ ‘Your Name Is Wild’.

November 19th, Norwegian I Was A King goes on stage with fellow Nordic acts TV Off (FIN), Kira Kira (ICE) and Francis (SWE). The evening is curated by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, and launches the Nordic monthly club night ‘Ja Ja Ja’. An important criterium for being shortlisted is an actual export potential for the UK market.
